Bipin is a postdoctoral scholar at Tufts Data Intensive Studies Center. He is currently working on two projects that are supported by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The first is about finding anomalous activity in X-ray images of cargo in e.g., trucks or shipping containers. The second is about detecting anomalous activity in crowded environments from non-video data. During his doctoral studies, he worked on AI-systems for smart surveillance in real-world scenarios. He aims to leverage the power of AI to develop innovative solutions that can address the complex and evolving security challenges of the modern world.
